Based on past experience, can anyone suggest some amps that best suit listening to Hard Rock/Metal music? I know speakers, source, and pre-amp will have an affect on this, the speakers are Anthony Gallo 3.1's, source is Bryston BCD-1, and pre-amp is a Bryston SP.2. Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

With your 4u and 350W ratings, I'd say go with whatever gives you the most horsepower. For stereo application, I'm partial to the old Carver M1.5t amps, fully refurbished of course. Inexpensive and very, very clear. YMMV. I think you also want a separate amp for the "sub-woofer" inputs on the Gallos, with high-pass filters. Am I correct?
