I need a dedicated amp to push 2 speakers, but I need a remote to control the volume.

Anyone have some suggestions. I was looking at NAD, Cambridge and such but couldn't seem to find one that had a remote.

You want what is called an "integrated amp" which has a built-in preamp. Lots of them around - what are your budget/power requirements? A stereo receiver will do the same thing (if you don't want a surround receiver). The new H/K 3490 will give you 120w/ch and lots of other useful goodies seldom seen on integrated or receiver amps: digital inputs, sub outputs, i-pod integration, just to name a few. And H/K amps are very good for the price.

Budget is unlimited. Power Requirements to push a pair of Polk Audio RM40T's.

Less bells and whistles the better. Want a great basic intergated amp.
