Can anyone recommend a decent amp that's less than 15" deep? I'm looking for 2 or 3 channels ideally producing around 250 watts @ 4 ohms.


My current TV stand wouldn't allow for some of the larger amps out there. Height and width aren't a problem, it's depth that I'm worried about. My Denon 4311 is 15" deep and it's pretty cramped in the back. I'd love to try the Emotiva XPA-3 but it's 19" deep. I know Class D amps tend to be a lot smaller so maybe that's what I should be looking into. Thoughts?

Don't know your budget but the NUFORCE 8.5 V3 fits the bill 16" deep and only 9lbs and 288 wpc. You might want to check it out. A Class D amp.

Wyred's Mini MC 3 and ST-250 are what I had in mind when I posted. I wasn't aware of D-Sonic or NuForce amps. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Rotel 1572 amp....500x2 into 4ohms. Less than 13.5" deep.
