Sorry, this has probably been beaten to death...
I have an AVR with pre-outs. Those are the only way I can get sound out of it from a digital source, e.g. DTS, for sound distribution. I have an old integrated amp, but when fed the signal from the pre-outs to the TAPE-IN, the signal is NOT amplified when it gets to TAPE-OUT. The only outputs receiving amplication are the speaker outs (NOT!) and the headphone out (Maybe?). My thought would be to use some kind of head-phone cord to L/R RCA jack adaptor. Is there such a beast?
