Was hoping for some help from some of the audiophiles out there.

I have distributed audio through my house that has a control box in the basement.

The control box has a amplified audio output that was destined for outside. Problem is that the amplified signal I believe will only power maybe two small speakers.

I would like to have 6 150 watt speakers outside.

My question is can I run the amplified output signal from the control box to say an amplifier (inside the house) with multiple outputs that I can run to the outside speakers?

Do I need something special that can handle the amplified signal? Or can I run the amplified signal to any type of amplifier and still run the output of the new amplifier to the outside speakers?

I have seen car in-line amplifiers - would that work? Unfortunately the control box doesn't have a preamplified signal that I could run to a second amplifier...

Any suggestions of products would be GREATLY appreciated.
