Amplifier Volts/Limter to Watts.

Yeah- im that dense and google searching hasn't helped

Snagged a FP10000Q- Limiters are
79V
56V
47V
38V

What the hell are they in watts lol- All I know is its a 220V service setup on it with L6-30r plugs (ill be installing a 220v 30A breaker). And I want each channel to be limited to about 1000-1100watts at 4ohm. Im spoiled- only ever used Behringers with DPS.

Aren't the limiter settings for power stage outputs, not mains voltage inputs?
P=V^2/R so 38^2/8= 180.5W for example.

Power is proportional to load voltage and impedance so it's easier to use voltage as the defined value rather than power because impedances vary wildly in a given speaker so it's easier to reference rather than power.

I made you a cheat sheet. I don't know if those voltages are RMS values, or peak instantaneous values, but either way, i guess they correlate so long as you're talking about the same thing, and understanding that it's only a rough translation, as are power ratings on speakers anyway.
