After getting my Ampro 3300 working again with Curt's help (I bought it from him) the projector was working fine except for being unable to get good focus on the edges. Center focus was spot on.
I didn't really pay too much attention to this since I was also playing with resolution settings on my HTPC trying to find the sweet spot, etc. so I thought that that could have been the cause of the focus difficulty. Anyhow, I ran the diagnostic code to check system temps and it reports back "+40 volts low".
Upon checking my manuals, I couldn't find any references to this fault. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on what or where to look to troubleshoot? And finally, could this be the cause of the focus issues?
Pop off the fuse cover and measure the 40 volt line. If the 40 V fuse isn't blown outright, it probably has a bad cap in that supply line. I've got a 3600 and 3300 here right now that I can test your P/S in and repair it if needed.
