Greetings,

I just purchased a like new Ampro LCD-150 at a local pawn shop for $500. I am in need of an owners manual and any opinions on this unit(and price paid). With DTC -100 and HTPC DVD the picture looks pretty good, I'm just not sure of how to set it up properly without the owners manual. Any help would be appreciated. Does anyone know if this is a clone or was it cloned by any other mfgs?

Thanks in advance,

Russ

Thanks benjdm,

Wow 100 bucks for a manual! Anyone know if there is a clone model out there whose owners manual would be applicable. Also any opinions on this unit?

Thanks,

Russ

I dug around the internet and found this info...

Ampro 150 LCD Projector, 800x600 res., 900 lumens

not the highest resolution but plenty for DVDs and TV.

If you have a nice picture then I think you did pretty good for $500.

Actually, I had a similar situation - the TELEX P500 and the Fujitsu LPF-3201 are the same as your AMPRO 150 - ALL are made by fujitsu (lamps are ~$500)

There is no spec on the LCD-150 and AMPRO went out of biz in 98/99 - your service center would be Fujitsu General.

As for a MANUAL - this is the best I could scare up and it appears to be 100% accurate:

That's about all...

Now if anyone knows WHERE I can find the remote codes for ANY of these models, I'd be all set!!
