I've been doing a major overhaul of the theater room over the last few weeks and finally tried the wireless remote I have for the Ampro 3600p. Everything works just fine with the wired one, obviously. I hooked up the wireless receiver and it blinks red when it receives a signal from the remote, however, nothing happens. I can't get the unit to turn on or do anything with the wireless remote. Am I missing a step here? Why would the wired remote work and not the wireless?

Thanks

V,

Maybe the baud rate switch settings inside the wireless IR receiver don't match the projector settings.

The normal default for the projector is 9600 baud. You can check the SW3 dip switch on the CPU card to confirm. SW3 switch positions 7 and 8 should be "off" for 9600 baud operation.

Next look at the dip switch under the slide cover of the IR receiver case. All the switches should be to the "off" position for 9600 baud.
