Does anybody have a Samsung PPM50H3? I'm thinking of buying one but would like to hear about other peoples experiences with it first.


I've narrowed down my search to the Samsung because it is one of the few that have auto-switching power supplies (110-240V 50/60Hz) and also meet my other requirements such as DVI input. I've seen one but couldn't compare it to any other plasma. Picture quality looked good to me but may be there is a better plasma display?

Check out Samsung HPN-5039, which is much better(better contrast and brightness). It has what you want, and is only slightly more expensive. PQ is fine after you work with the display a little. The HPN also has no fan, and comes with 2 year warranty, the PPM does not. Also I'm not sure if the PPM has the Faroudja guts...
