I have read very good things about the Zektor component switch in the HDTV forum but have not seen any reviews on their MAS3 multi-channel audio switch. Do any of you have any experience with this product?
As we all know, you cannot take advantage of SACD or DVD-A audio's higher bit rates unless your pre/pro supports them and/or offers an analog bypass interface to wire your SACD/DVD-A player directly to your multichannel AMP. Unfortunately for me, my two year old TAG AV32R does not have the analog bypass hardware upgrade and TAG wants a bit too much for me to get it.
Instead, I am thinking about buying the MAS3 and pairing it up with an Outlaw ICBM (if necessary). This will allow me to get the most out of my DVD-1600 and provide flexibility if I wanted to purchase a high quality SACD player. BTW, It is too bad the ICBM does not support multichannel analog input switching. Any plans for Outlaw to support this in the future?
Anyway, Any comments onthe MAS3?
Thanks ahead of time.
