Hello all,

Is it safe to assume that these two designs yield very similar results?

It look like they both start to rolloff around 27Hz but the Micro uses a 15" woofer and the Anarchy uses a 6.5" woofer.

Output db is obviously higher with the Micro, but not bad with the Anarchy.

Anybody want to set me straight?

it'd take more power, but it is also more than 3 times as loud subjectively.

20 db is the difference between when a movie is playing the opening credits music and when all hell is breaking loose and the entire system is being maxed out. it is huge.

How can a 6.5" woofer even compete with a 15" in terms of moving air.
When it has seven times the excursion. Which isn't impossible, there are fifteens with 1mm xmax and sixes with 7mm. But it would be rare.

Which 15's have 1mm xmax?, your talking about old drivers not current, right? If not which current 15" drivers have 1mm xmax? Tang Band 1139 6.5" has 11.5" xmax.
