This one slipped under the radar.
Quote:
NOSFERATU 2 DISC SE

Widescreen Presentation enhanced for 16x9 TVs

• Audio Commentary with director Werner Herzog and Norman Hill

• Featurette: "The Making of Nosferatu"

• 2-Disc Set

• Theatrical Trailers

• Talent Bios

Audio:

German: Dolby Surround 5.1

English: Mono
If I had to guess, I'd say that there will be two RSDL discs: One for the German version, the other for the U.S. version. Hopefully they will put the extras (making of, trailers) on the U.S. version to conserve space for the German version.

The old version was non-anamorphic, full of artifacts, with subtitles that would be cut off on a widescreen monitor. I am ordering this new edition.

..ahh... "bless them"?... why?... they could have done things right the first time around (think anamorphic transfer)...

They were not doing 16X9 at the time. It took them a couple of years to transform from a company that cut every corner to a company that makes a genuine effort. I despise some of their screups over the last few years, but for the most part, they are a good company.
