Android 6.6520(2016-2017 sony tvs) bugs:

Hi guys,
I mentioned this in the z9d thread, but I wanted to see if others with x930e, x940e, all 2017 models, and even the later x1 extreme tvs(x900f) are also having the same problem with Oreo(6.6520) on their sets. I've had multiple power issues, and I can't find any solutions. Here's what I posted in z9d thread:

"Okay, there seems to be many issues with my z9d post-oreo(v6.6520). Every day my tv reboots when I try to power it on, the set randomly turns on and reboots even when its off, and I still get wifi off errors. Can anyone help here? I am beginning to lose it. Should I reinstall the OS? Call Sony? My set was fine before Oreo. I never had any problems like this."

So its been 2 months since I've had power issues with oreo on my z9d. I had no issues with Nougat. Does anyone on this forum with an Sony android tv set have or had issues in the past with their set rebooting(android logo) as soon as its powered on? If so, any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
Have you tried a full factory reset? I believe it's an option in the menus. I imagine it will erase all memory and, hopefully, download a fresh copy of Android then install, reboot, and voila. Hope that helps.. I'm sure your situation is frustrating. GL!

Yes, I factory reset it and I'm still having problems. It seems to be more frequent in the last couple of days. It seems to be a major problem with the software, as my z9d didn't have problems in this area.

Is anyone having problems like the above video since updating to Oreo?
