small room but i have a window swill, so i can get another 12 inches of throw for a bigger image.

but window is not in center of room. it's off to the side a little bit. i have a mits 4900 pj. horizontal shift is not enough to center the image.

so i was thinking of turning the pj about 30 degrees or so. when i did that i went from a 96 inch image to a 106 inch image.

will this harm the image? here is a diagram.

You won't have even focus across the screen. Also your image will not be rectangular and will require keystoning.

I had two illustrations to facilitate the correct understanding on how to install a projector and

how the displacement of the image in relation to lens.

Vision side, simulation of only one projector:

Superior Vision, simulation of various formats of projectors:

Telas= Screen

Parede = Wall

Luz Projeção = Light Projection

Centro da Lente = Lens center

Deslocamento da Imagem = Image offset
