I hooked up two of the bass shakers this weekend to my fouton (main seating aisle of the HT), and think they're great, particularly at the price. I'm running them off an old amp though that I had available, and it's a no frills, 15 year old model. There's no way to set any crossover setting.

I have my crossover on my Denon set at 100 mhz, since I'm running the fronts as small. While I like the shakers, there were times when I didn't want them vibrating, and I'd like to drop the crossover for them down around 50 or 60 tops. Don't they make some sort of line filters that I can put on to take out everything above a certain frequencey?

BTW, I watched the Core last night with them - not a terrific film, but one of the best bass reference DVD's out there. Several amazing bass sequences - rattled the whole house several times!

That's it - thanks! I'm assuming folks have used these for this particular application before? I'm pretty happy with the bass shakers, if I can filter out some of the higher frequencies.
