I guled the front panel on and held it in place with heavy duty masking tape around the outside edges and also a few clamps, using left over sound barrier to protect the gloss finish. I also put a few screws in from the back to keep aligned. The screws were put in before the complete box was made and then removed, it is hard to get your hands in there when the box is assembled .Why do I do this.I have screwed the front panel on before,from the front, on other speaker projects and what will hapen when using mdf is after you fill the screw holes I use bondo, then prime, then paint, after about 6 months to a year the mdf will shrink, and then you can see where the screws are because the bondo does not shrink as much and you have a bunch of round screw holes that are slightly sticking out.
