When I hit the "Channel Up" or "Channel Down" button, the receiver starts rolling through the channels one by one very quickly. I can stop it by punching in a specific channel and hitting Select. The problem is that I can't punch in a digital channel because I can't see that the receiver has the capacity (like the RCA DTC100) to punch in the ".1" part of the channel. I've tried resetting the receiver by unplugging it for a while. This worked once before, but doesn't seem to work now. Any suggestions??

It's not a .1 but a -1 and the "-" is on the keypad. The latest software version is 5099. Fan cooling the unit may help its stability. Does the channel up/down problem also take place when using the face plate buttons instead of the remote?
