Okay I've read posts for a few hours and am a bit confused. I'm wondering what I need to have to run a hdtv signal to my Mitsubishi TV

with (Y-Pb-Pr) inputs. As well as using the HDTV as the computer display.

I was thinking of getting a Tuner card (HIPIX, Access...)

a Video card (Radion All in Wonder)

I guess then I need a Transcoder. to hookup the Y-Pb-Pr inputs.

I already have a progressive scan DVD player so I probably don't need to worry about that.

I really just want something I can Timeshift over the air HDTV programming.

And play video games in HDTV.

Is there anything else I need? (What does H3D give me? Is this an extra thing or is is also the tuner?) Is there a preferred tuner card?

Thanks for your help

If your Mits set has a (5 wire RGBVH) DTV input you won't need a transcoder. I have a Mits-46809 with a MyHD card connected to the DTV input, and it works great for time shifting. Not as good as TiVo, as far as ease of recording and use, but the picture quality is excellent; kick TiVo's ass in that department.
