I bought this IR receiver recently and have been having trouble getting it to work with my Harmony 880 remote. Its basically an iMON receiver (comes with the iMON software). Honestly, the cheap remote that game with it doesnt work all that well, other than with the iMedian HTPC software (which sucks). Im not sure if Ive told the Harmony software the wrong device (used Soundgraph iMON as my Media Center PC), or if the receiver sucks because its cheap. Anyone else tried this device and have any experience they could share to get this working?

Try selecting Microsoft - Windows Media Center in the Harmony software instead of SoundGraph/iMon. The iMon VFD only recongizes MCE IR codes (and whatever the SoundGraph remotes use).

So did you get this to work, Contra? I'm looking at rebuilding my HTPC and thought this looked slick. Does it end up just working as a Windows Media Center remote?
