Hey guys, I just moved in to a row house in Baltimore, and decided to stick to online content and OTA tv, skipping on cable for now. We have plenty of nearby tv stations (i've driven by a few) but about half are northwest and half are southwest, with a few stragglers. The ones to the northwest seem like the ones I'll want most of the time, Fox, CBS, NBC, but we also like PBS, and the closest one is almost due south. The row houses we're in run east-west, so I don't believe I can just point an attic antenna west through the neighbors attics and hope for decent signal. I can't do a rooftop antenna yet, because we're renting to buy.

I'm considering the UFO mentioned in EscapeVelocity's thread as I don't mind tuning the antenna when we find something we want to watch. If it would be beneficial, I'd even be happy to put that antenna either in the attic (probably not practical, as I wouldnt know where it was pointing) or in a northfacing bedroom for the north stations and a south facing bedroom for south ones. As it's a rotator, I hope that wouldnt be necessary.
If anyone has any other suggestions, that's what I'm here for. I'm open to an attic mount, with or without a rotator, but I'd really prefer to stay under $100.
Oh and whatever goes up would be replacing rabbit ears, which are currently bringing in a few stations of varying quality. If more info on rabbit ear results would help, I can do that.
