Hello all!

Here's my pertenate gear:

Mitsu - 65511 (HDTV)

DISH 500 - PVR 501 (SD)

Radioshack VU90-XR (80" Attic antenna)

Antenna is hung & pointed towards TV towers ~35mi out. Picture is great from OTA HD, but it seems to be overpowering the Sat signal as it says 'aquiring signal' until I unplug the Ant from the diplexer.

Question: Can I 'mix' the signals from the Dish and Antenna through the same cable going down the wall to the tv? If not, what are some tricks for sending another wire down an outside wall? Currently I only have one line run to the tv.

- Found my own answer:

2 diplexers are needed. One in the attic and one at the TV.

The reason it was not working was I had a splitter not a diplexer at one end and the low voltage that the Sat sends was getting cut off by the ant.

- Enjoy!
