I have a D2 w/ ARC and have an issue getting the "Mode Preset" to play the front and surround speakers when playing a 2 channel stereo CD. Following is how I have the settings now. The processor will temporarily play the all speakers for a couple seconds, then drop out and only play the 2 front speakers and it doesn't matter whether I "Save User Settings" before exiting the setup mode or not.


a. 2.0:All Ch Stereo

b. 2Sur: Same as 2.0


This problem only occurs when playing CD's on the Oppo BDP-95 using the HDMI output. The Directv stereo feeds play exactly like I want with a stereo output, (all 4 speakers and center channel). Any advice would be much appreciated.

I forgot to mention that this problem only occurs on SOME discs, usually older discs.

One other note, the D2 has been upgraded to v1.33 sw.
