I'm considering upgrading from 802.11g to 802.11n, now that the future HTPC technology may warrant that, from how I feel. I already got the router yesterday from BB, which is a D-Link 802.11n Draft router, and seems to connect to my existing G devices, however, for my desktop, I'm wondering if there are any good PCI cards that adhere to the N standard at all, that are of a reasonable/sale price?

There is no draft-N standard and anything you buy now may or probably may not work with the real N specs when they are finalized.

There is a draft-n standard. It will probably be compatible with the final n standard, though not guaranteed. I have the above pci card and it works great for $30.
