Just wondering if this is a reasonable decent integrated amp. Bidding on one on ebay - looking to use it to power some ceiling speakers in my basement - will it be a decent amp?

It’s hard to go wrong with that older Yamaha stuff. For instance, this one has two speaker connections, which means it’s suitable for 4-ohm operation. I’ve always felt the variable loudness control was a nice feature.


Bottom line, it’s far better than any ceiling speaker deserves.
