I bought some of that cable and Monster's 14-4 from my local Home Depot and it seems to work fine. I think it was litte bit less expensive though (all Monster cable is being discontinued and is on clearance). I went back last week to buy an extra 50 ft. of the 14-4. I asked the guy if the price was .30/ft. and he said don't be suprised if it rings up less expensive. When I got to the cashier it rang up at .01/ft. Apparantly all the remaining Monster cable was reduced to .01/ft. What a great deal.

I was using this wire for a game room and a outside patio so I wasn't too concerned about a using 12 gauge. I was more interested in hiding the cable. But, I am using NHT SuperOnes's and OutdoorOnes and they sound fanstastic using the 14 gauge wire. Home Depot also has another brand of 12 gauge in-wall wire (Carrol I think) that is inexpensive that should work just fine. The outer jacket is not as thick as the Monster cable.
