Hi,

Are there any decent upconvert players that are small (10" wide or smaller and no more than about 10 inches deep)? Space is a premium where I am putting my 47" LCD and would like a small, thin DVD player. The only small DVD player I've found is the Samsung H1080 but there are mixed reviews on this unit. Does anyone know of any other small units?

Thanks for any help..

There's an RCA available at Target stores with HDMI out/upconversion. No idea on the quality, but it meets your small requirements. At least you can return it within the first few weeks or so.

And a Magnavox mini available at W/M. Note W/M sells 2 Magnavoxes that look very similar, just one is a upconverter and it's $10-15 extra. The RCA and Magnavox are both probably made by Funai and possibly not the best quality. I might lean more towards the Samsung but have no personal experience with any of these. Sony makes a somewhat decent little player(model 200 something) but it's not a upconverter, only component and composite outputs, it goes for ~$40.
