Howdy:


My order <robot voice>is being packed for shipment. It should ship within 1 to two business days</robot voice>. It's been like that since Monday morning.


I placed the order on Sunday as soon as they opened.


Anybody ordering from Saturday or Sunday have a tracking number, or anything?

My Thursday evening unit hasn't shipped yet, to my knowledge.

I ordered mine Thursday 10:20 AM per the Dell order confirmation e-mail. On-line order status is still "delayed". I spoke with Cory at Dell yesterday. He told me all orders will be shipped. I asked if the 8/6 delivery date was realistic. He told me that 8/4 was the end of their quarter and they are making every effort to get these projectors shipped by then. Hope he's right!

I just asked because some of the people that did receive it had the Dell care site still saying the package was in 'Delivery Preparation'.

ordered mine Sunday 7/22 12:00pm CST over the phone. Got an order confirmation number, no other word. Dell online order status lists it as "delivery prep". no clue when it will arrive -- don't care -- will be happy just to get it.

Here is my story:


- Order on 7/19 at 5:30pm EST through Dell website

- Received confirmation number at 6:10pm EST with the shipping date of 7/24.

- Received an updated shipping date of 8/6 on 7/24

- Unit was shipped on 7/25 via Fedex overnight service

- Received it today 7/26.

pay the extra bucks to get it in your hands as soon as possible.

My story:


Ordered 7/19 online. Got order #'s via phone call aroun 5:30 - 6ish. Ordered 2 projectors and a bulb next day air.


Monday: "Sorry we will have it in the mail today it will be there tomorrow."


Tuesday (after 100 calls =)):"Sorry don't know what happened we will refund next day shipping charges and get it in the mail today no later then 1 call back and check in then."


Tuesday 1:30: left voice mails and never got a return call (expected!)


Weds: Supervisor "Sorry I have no idea what happened we will expedite your order and get it to you by tomorrow."


Thurs (Today): No damn projector and no phone calls to return my voice mails. Phone and puter status still tell me the unit has been released to manufacturer for assembly.


I am going to go crazy here, but I guess for the money I just have to grin and bear it.


We shall see tomorrow!

i ordered saturday 11 am est and have been recieving the same message as you since monday also.

i didn't pay for any rush delivery so the soonest it would get to me as of right now, is next friday.

and i don't think it will be here by then either.
