I read an article a while back about Cheers being remastered in HD. Has anyone heard anything about their possible syndication, maybe in Paramount's package, or better yet, HDnet?

I would have thought that it would go onto Bravo HD considering the Strong NBC connections.


I am hoping that Hill Street Blues get the HD treatment for Bravo. Bravo Currently has Hill Street running.

That article notes that "Cheers" is owned by Paramount, which, along with Nick/Nick at Nite, is a Viacom subsidiary.

DaveFi, apparently they're not exclusive rights since my local Fox affiliate aires the show at midnight.

It's up to the Owner if they want it remastered in HD. Anyone can buy it but you buy what the owner wants you to have...
