with all the new projectors coming out, it seems as if the dinosaur L300U has fallen out of favor...


i still use mine, and to be honest, i see no need to upgrade...i'm generally quite happy with it.


i'm wondering if other L300U owners could please post their picture settings here...i know, i know, these settings are unique to every situation (screen, source, etc), but just for reference i would like to try other settings to see if i maybe able to get a slightly better picture.


anyone care to share their settings?


and it would be great if someone has used the Smart system to calibrate their setup could share the results (or any other professional calibration system)...

LMCid, that thread has nothing about settings, it only talks about upgrading to the L500 or 700. did i miss something??

you L300U owners dissappoint me...

Most PT-L300U owners are off the boards just enjoying their projectors for the last couple of years. If you search the archives, there are a few threads on L300U settings.

I just put my L300u (AE300) up for sale. It's an awesome projector but my new room size requires a longer throw. My 300 was fed by the Zenith DVB318 at 1080i. Great PQ. I have a Hoya filter on it.
