Currently in the market for a new receiver around $1k and was wondering if any new receivers are coming out that I should hold out for. I know the denon 3805 came out recently and both kenwood and panasonic have new digital receivers supposedly coming out in the next few months, but was wondering if I missed any?

Panasonic XR70, two digital amps from kenwood, and I think denon announced a digital amp too, HK just released updated digital amps so there is lot to look for in couple of months.

No announcement yet, but speculation is that the replacements for the Pioneer 53tx/55txi will be out within the next couple of months. I think the current models were announced last June and appeared in stores around July or August 2003 so it's about that time.
