I noticed Faroudja updated their website and the DVP 5000 and 3000 are gone. Any news on the replacement for the 5000?

None as far as I know, it has been extremely quiet. I went ahead and bought a used 5000 since I needed a processor that could do 960p and 1080p for my set up. I had hoped before I did, the new Faroudja products would be out but........

The new DVP- 1080 is supposed to do 1080i to 1080p for 8k, according to the spec sheet at HE2004


Not sure about specifics, but I believe PF on the forum knows.
