Hi everyone,

I've been taking a serious look at the Sony KP-46WT500 HD-ready tabletop RPTV. It's a relatively new model, and so far I've been unable to find a lot of useful opinions or experiences about it.

Some of the features of this TV that appeal to me are:

- 16:9

- DVI input

- relatively small footprint (42" wide, 24" deep)

Plus all of the other Sony features in their Hi-Scan models like DRC, etc.

If any of you live in the greater Los Angeles area, you might be interested to know that Pacific Sales (a local chain here in LA) has this unit on sale for $1697 until the end of December. I'm planning to have Best Buy price match this unit and use an additional 10% off "preferred customer" coupon this weekend, for a total cost of about $1527. Also, this week Best Buy is offering a free leather recliner and ottoman with the purchase of any of their digital RPTVs - not sure whether I'll keep it, or sell it.

In addition, Pacific Sales has the Mitsubishi 42311 Gold Series 42" tabletop RPTV on sale for $1597 - another good deal for a good 16:9 RPTV.

So, any opinions? Thanks in advance.
