Any opinions on the Energy C-Series speakers?

I know listening to a speaker is the best but...

My local dealer (40 miles away) of Energy speakers no longer stocks any but will order them if you want. So I have no way to test them before hand.

I am just looking for a some Bookshelf speakers in the $200 a pair range with limited space (max depth about 8.5"). I am considering speakers like:

Book shelf Center

Energy C-100 - C-C50 center

Klipsch B-2 - C-1

Klipsch RB-10 - RC-10

Intimus 422-LR - 422- C

I also need a matching center that is 6" or less in height which rules out many other speakers.

I trying to put together a "nice" HT setup a step above a HTIB system and one that fits in the space I have.

So I would appreciate any suggestions / pointers.

You could also check out the Monitor Audio Bronze series (B1) at Saturday Audio (click on Deals), if you can manage a 6.5" center.
