I have multiple chapter skips with the disc going back to the 5th or 6th

chapter anyone else? John Barry does the job superb writing and conducting, of the beautiful music of this German World War 2 decoding machine DVD.

There was an earlier thread on this DVD. The PQ is terrible even when it will play. It played on my Panasonic but would not play on my neighbors Toshiba deck. All in all, one of the worst DVD transfers in recent history.

It played fine on my old pioneer 525. Thought the movie was pretty good but agree it's not a great transfer. Not the worst I've seen though but I did watch it on a 27" screen.

Enigma was just re-released in a sepcial edition last week with a new anamorphic transfer so lets make sure which version we're talking about here...

Fred the new disc I picked up has a beautiful 2.35:1 Anamorphic Transfer, that along with beautiful music is the reason I am taking this disc back for another try.
