Any products like Sonos?

Dear audio/digital content gurus:

I'm wondering if there is a product similar to Sonos that will allow me to send music from Napster to 3 different rooms/zones.

I like Sonos, but it is expensive and I don't need the wireless capability. I just want to be able to play different songs from Napster in 3 different rooms at the same time.

If there's a way to do this by integrating a couple of products together, I'm open to that too.

Thanks!

Squeezebox has several different products that can be used to listen to music off the internet including Napster, Rhapsody, Pandora, etc. as well as off your computer. I have the Squeezebox Duet which I feed into my house music system and it seems to work well.

To go to multiple rooms you will need one in each room, or connect the output of one to a multiple room audio amp and speakers.
Sorry if I sound like a noob, but I'm confused. Can you tell me what I'd need in this example:

I have in-ceiling speakers in 3 rooms home run back to an amp (currently a cheap one with a speaker selector).

I want to be able to stream songs from Napster to all 3 rooms (different songs at the same time).

It sounds like I need 3 Squeezebox receivers, but do I need 3 stereo amps?

Or would a 3-zone amp work?

... It might become even more expensive than Sonos.

If you want different songs in each room then you will need a separate source and a separate amp for each room. This is true for either Sonos or Squeezebox. Each Sonos or Squeezebox unit can only output one source at a time.

The amp can be a multizone unit such as NuVo or Russound sells, or from several other internet sources (Google "Multi zone amp" or "3 channel amp"). These have a separate stereo amp output for each room.

Anytime you want different music sources to each room, it becomes somewhat expensive.
