Hi All,

Just wondering if this would be a decent alternative to the no longer available eeColor 3DLUT box. Combining the two Blackmagic Micro converters HDMI>SDI SDI>HDMI found here Blackmagic 3G SDI with a cheap HDCP stripper on the input side, to apply the LUT then output back to the display device.

Am I missing something here or would this be a decent alternative? Any issues to look out for?

For the SDI>HDMI conversion on my 4K display I use the Blackmagic Terranex mini 12G with the 32 point 3D LUT table,
Excellent unit.
I also bought the smart panel attachment but that was a waste of money.
