I have a Stewart OptaWave 120 and a single mirror OptaMirror system with a Electrohome ECP 4501. I bought it all at a storage space auction and most of it is still in the original crates. There don't seem to be any manuals so I am looking for any info on what it might take to set it up. From what I know it appears that it will take about 5 feet behind the screen. If any one has any experience with this screen anything would be helpful. Also any ideas on where to get some manuals. I've already piked up some real good advice on projector maintenance from this board.

The Mirror is a first surface optical glass mirror and comes with towers to hold the mirror frame in place around 6 or 7 feet of the floor. The Optakong mirror system also comes with a projector stand platform made to fit the electrohome projector. The MSRP, if bought today, would be over $14,000 for the screen and Optakong system.
If you can find the serial number off the outside of the crates it is very likely we have the original CAD details in our archives. We might be able to fax you a drawing of the set up geometry for the rear projection system.
Call 800 762-4999. Ask for Greg Van Arsdale. He is one of our top engineers. Also...be sure to explain to him your circumstances in detail as this will give him a better chance of finding the info you seek.

Thanks for the great info Don. I'll give Greg a call on Monday. I almost feel bad about what I paid for this stuff. I got the screen, projector and a rack full of SVHS vcr's and other misc. equip and about 14 JBL control 1's for under $2000.00. I've already sold most of the stuff on ebay but I wanted to see if I could fit this screen in my room or if I would have to build a new room or buy a new house. It sounds like it might be worth it to look for a new house and build it around this screen. Yipee!
