Any Silver Sensor (Terk HDTVi/Philips PHDTV1) sightings locally? I'd like to buy it locally at a store with a good return policy in case it doesn't work out for me.

Most any consumer electronics store will have a version. Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc.

Was at my local Circuit City and Radio Shack and didn't see them. Are you sure RS has it? What is the model number?

RS used to sell one of the Terks (HDTVi or HDTVa, I'm not sure). Haven't seen it at the one here in well over a year, though.


CC normally sells the Silver Sensor, and BB sells the HDTVa (and it's VERY overpriced there - so be prepared. Many people just try it from there and return it and buy it for nearly half the price online if it works well for them).

If you buy them online from those stores above, you can usually return it to most of them, I think (check their policies).


Then just buy it for half the price from Amazon, or wherever.

Do you have a Microcenter nearby? I think I saw one about 2 months ago in the one nearby. They have the PHDTV1 listed on their web page and available for instore pickup. Oh...0 in stock at the MD store.

Ive only seen teh Terk HDTVa at Best Buy....at an outrageous price.


Target had tags up and an empty shelf for the Philips Silver Sensor, last year, all year long, seemingly.
