I see this being asked 2 years ago. Its been some time. Is there such a beast out there now? I know Oppo 103/105 can do this. But they are a little expensive especially if you already have a bluray player.

All I am looking is a "simple" media player that as the following feature

1. Source direct modes for video and leave my scaler/darbee do all of what I want.

2. Gigabit Ethernet

3. playback mkv/mp4 and may Bluray ISO (not important)

4. Supports SRT subtitles with ability to move the position of the subtitles and ability to delay or quicken subtitles in the case of mismatch with the video. Colours options for subtitles displayed would be a bonus!

Only one company ever did source direct in a media player and that was sagetv but google bought them and never did another media player again
