I'm currently in the market for a projector and am having a hard time making up my mind. One of my good buddies had this projector lying around and shipped it to me for me to mess with. I figured I could at least see what living with one would be like.

Anyway, it has 2 RGB, 1 S-vid, and 1 composite input. I have just messed around with hooking it up straight from my VGA and s-vid out from my PC. Everything is blurry thru the s-vid but the VGA is nice and clear.

This proj is XGA 4:3 native, I've looked at the PDF's and can't find any real technical data. I was just wondering if this is even worth my time to set it up in the room.

Thanks for any input.

A few more details on the projector,

It's LCD XGA, it does RGB sync on green, it's really really bright! 2000 lumens according to hitachi.

Thanks for any advice...

Just an update, I still need some help.

I picked up a panasonic rp-56 & a monster BNC to RGB cable with some bnc-rca conversion plugs. I plugged it all up and got a sync out of range message from the projector. Is there anything else I can do at this point? Do I have to get a scan converter?

Thanks
