I just had Voom installed a couple of days ago and the signal doesn't appear that strong. A bit of wind breaks the image up and a light drizzle completely cuts it off.


There aren't any trees that could be getting in the way and the satellite is set up three stories high. I'm also not getting any local channels with the antenna they provided but hopefully they'll be giving me an upgrade. I just want to see what other people's experiences are in this area.

I am in NC and a lot closer to 61.5 degrees than you. I lost signal in the Thunderstorms this past Sunday morning and again today.



I have a DishNetwork receiver aimed at 61.5 degrees and it is rock solid.


I have 94-96 signal on Voom


100-105 on Dish
