Is there any way to set up a HTPC to act like a TiVo but that can record HDTV and/or DD5.1? I have been regretting that my TiVo cannot record the 5.1 output of my current cable box. I don't have HDTV yet but I'm on the waiting list for an HDTV cable box and will hopefully have it within a month or two. I have tons of computing power just sitting around doing nothing and lots of high speed RAID array storage and figured if I could get a capture card and put it to work it'd be worth it.
