I was thinking about going with a 16:9 screen so that whenever I upgrade I will not need to replace the screen. I'm thinking firehawk or Da Lite HCCV. Any comparisons between the two would be appreciated but my main question is whether a 16:9 screen will work well. I know the 711 has a small 4:3 feature but read it only works with the S video output (good for cable bad for XBox, computer).


Any specific tricks or do you just zoom 4:3 RBG signals into the center of the screen using the zoom feature?

The 711 is excellent with a 16:9 screen for the X-box. Use the X-box hidef kit and set it to 16:9, it fits perfectly

I think that most games don't support 16:9 (including Halo) and might get stretched but I probably won't notice much. In the future most new games will support 16:9 I hope.
