Anyone do it?

I am about to add an additional Klipsch Sub-10 to my HT, only because I got a SUPER deal on another one.

The single works great, sooooooo another added to the system will sound at least twice as good, right?

Call me stupid, but what should I expect?

A man can never have enough subwoofers , right?

It depends on how you deploy them. If they are located close together (within a few feet), they will add about 6dB to the total sound level. This is a doubling of the SPL, but I have seen that it takes 10dB to give a perceived doubling of sound. If you seperate them and properly place them, you can still achieve about 3dB increase in max output, but the bigger advantage is to smooth out bad nulls in the listening position becouse of different source points and different reflection points.
Yea, that's what I was kinda thinkin too.

Anyone else?
Agreed on placement. To fill the dead spots is the main reason I'm looking to add a 2nd.

Placing one diagonally across from the other is a good way of ensuring this.

Then again, depending on the size of your room, it might be over kill.
