I was wondering if anyone is using one of the 3D materials as their

home theater screen.

I regularly project my realist format slides, for viewing with

polarized glasses on a silver lenticular screen.

I'm about to get a video projector and screen for a home theater,

and wondering if dual-use is possible.

Anyone tried this?

What are the trade-offs?

I will have some ambient light when viewing video.

I assume the main thing would be the viewing angle on the silver screen

would be less than a firehawk or grayhawk?

Thanks,

There is the Stewert Silver 3D material that some use for curved screens for crt projectors. It's 3.2 gain. I have a curved screen and it looks much better than any other screen I've seen so far with a CRT.
