Anyone else got a Kenwood VRS-N8100 receiver?
I just started playing around with one of these and before duplicating work done by others I was curious if anyone else has looked into playing replay files?
The 8100 is a networked receiver that connects to a PC server. The receiver can play many different files directly including avi (many different codecs including divx and xvid), mpegs, VOBs and many more.
I tried to play an untouched 5k file on the unit and it didn't work. I'm planning on trying a rtvconverted file to see if removing the extra clock references and such will help with playback.
So, anyone else play with this?
