Anyone getting the movie "See Spot Run" in HD on Fox right now?

Nobody is showing it HD. They posted the "this movie has been formatted to fit this screen" announcement at the beginning.


Every time I see that, I chuckle. It doesn't fit my screen.

If that's whatever movie they're showing in place of the rained out ALCS game... no HD out of WJW/Cleveland. Though they're apparently running it through the splicer...there's the "FOX 8-1/WJW-DT CLEVELAND" ID all the time just to the right of the 4:3 picture.

I have the WTTG logo to the right as well.

I still had Fox on after the announcement came down that the ballgame was postponed, looked up and the opening credits of the movie was in HD. Looked up again and movie was in 4:3, although the Fox bug is in the corner for a 16:9 picture.

I think its a situation similar to when CBS changed their programming lineup because of late golf and CSI was only in SD...its pretty last minute. I think Jeanie Zalasko said it was the "world premiere"...probably because this is the only situation where it would actually be aired. .

She did say that, but it has aired on TBS.
