i was just wondering if anyone has the word on any company ready to produce an all waterproof HD camcorder? I currently have the sanyo E1 which is fully waterproof but is SD. I love it but wish they woud make an HD version. I would buy it in a second. so was wondering if anyone has heard anything on upcoming HD camcorders that will be waterproof (any companies thinking or talking about it?) thanks

Any specific depth you are looking for? I assume, could be wrong, you have already checked into underwater housings? I have the Sony HDR-HC3 and I bought their underwater housing for it from Amazon for pretty cheap. It does what I need it to do. Gives me near-full control, up to 17 feet to work with, audio both in and out of water and just extra safety when I am outside filming near rain/water. I haven't seen any HD camcorders with that feature built in yet, but I'm sure they would skyrocket the price just because they can.
