From what I understand this is a fairly new frame design from Draper, incorporating a 4" border which is said to be easy to fit together, a choice of material with this is the m1300 1.3 gain, my question is does anyone have any experience with this material? is it comparable to a studiotek 130, how does it stack up against a carada, I need to make a decision this week on what screen to get, the projector is Optoma H77 in a light controlled dedicated theater, what kind of picture quality can I expect and what drawbacks if any, currently im using a diy screen made from Draper m2500 mateial, I really like the material except for the vertical lines that I and so many others see, thanks in advance

M1300 is a good material. It actually has a gain of 1, not 1.3. Studiotek 130 is the better material and it has some gain. The benefit of the Stewart is the more true color fidelity. M1300 has a cooler temp to it with regard to the pic. You won't be upset with any material you choose if you have a light controlled dedicated theater and the H77. Personally, I would DIY again and use Studiotek material. Then again, the Onyx frame is beautiful. I will try to get one in my gallery as I hung one recently for a customer.
